Common outlook shortcut keys

Shortcut keys can help you bypass menus and carry out commands directly. You can use shortcut keys in many ways with Outlook, from accessing commands and toolbar buttons to opening a new e-mail message. Shortcut keys are sometimes listed next to the command name on Outlook menus. The following is a listing of all the major shortcut keys in Microsoft Outlook.

Ctrl+Shift+A Create a new appointment to your calendar.

Ctrl+Shift+O Open the Outbox.

Ctrl+Shift+I Open the Inbox.

Ctrl+Shift+K Add a new task.

F1 Use to open help of any windows panel

F3 Move cursor to Look for box

F4 Use to display Find dialog box

F6 Apply to select item in active window

F7 Use to check spelling in active window

F9 Use to receive and send email

F10 Use to select the main File menu bar

F11 Apply to activate Find a Contact dialog box

F12 Use to run Save As dialog box.
